We are excited to welcome Annie & The Fur Trappers back to Boston Swing Central! Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, this band is dedicated to preserving and performing music from the 1920s and 1930s, with instruments ranging from trombone and banjo to washboard. We have added a St Louis Shag lesson to start the evening.

Evening Schedule:
Beginner St Louis Shag Dance Lesson (included w/ price of admission): 7:30 – 8:15pm

Beginner Swing Dance Lesson (included w/ price of admission) 8:15pm – 9:00pm

Swing Dancing: 9:00pm – 11:45pm

What is BSC?

Boston Swing Central is a dancer-formed, non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting positive and fun swing dancing experiences in Boston.

We have two primary objectives. First, to provide a weekly Friday night dance that caters to the desires of dancers of all levels. This means a dance that is centrally located, on public transportation, and reasonably priced.

Second, to champion the diverse voices within our community by remaining open and neutral with regards to information and promotion of other swing dancing events in the greater Boston area and by striving to feature a wide variety of teachers, bands, and DJs.
