Sweet and Low Down

This past month we were happy to have Senti Rhythm as a new band at Boston Swing Central, and now, in April we are adding the Sweet & Low Down to our growing list of new bands. You might remember them from last year’s late night dance at BIX. The Sweet & Low Down are a side project of Miss Tess, which features Miss Tess and co-vocalist Rachel Price. We are really excited to have them and hope you’ll come on out and see why.

What is BSC?

Boston Swing Central is a dancer-formed, non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting positive and fun swing dancing experiences in Boston.

We have two primary objectives. First, to provide a weekly Friday night dance that caters to the desires of dancers of all levels. This means a dance that is centrally located, on public transportation, and reasonably priced.

Second, to champion the diverse voices within our community by remaining open and neutral with regards to information and promotion of other swing dancing events in the greater Boston area and by striving to feature a wide variety of teachers, bands, and DJs.
