Join us in welcoming Parlour Noir to BCS!

Since 2017, Parlour Noir has been a well-spring of traditional jazz music from the historic Mt. Airy district of Philadelphia, PA. The eccentric six-piece ensemble brings joy and energy to the stage across a variety of venues, from bombastic swing dance weekends to intimate restaurant settings. Comprised of vocals, horns, piano, guitar, drums, and upright bass, the band swings hard through a repertoire that spans 1922-1945, including a handful of original tunes made specifically for the dance floor. They’ve now become one of Philadelphia’s premier Swing Bands.

8:00pm – 9:00pm: Beginner Swing Dance Lesson (included w/ price of admission)
9:00pm – 11:45pm: Swing Dancing

Advance Admission:
General: $20
Students and Seniors (with Valid ID): $13

ADVANCE TICKETS– must be purchased by 11pm on Thursday before the Friday dance

At-the-door Admission:
General: $22
Student/Senior: $15

🗒 VENUE NOTES

Please try to bring a clean pair of shoes to the dance, as dirt and gravel from outside can damage the dance floors in the spaces we’re renting. Thank you in advance!

When parking, we recommend allowing extra time, as nearby parking has been heavily reduced due to the gym lot being closed. Please DO NOT park in the Apple Cinemas, the Danehy Park lot, the auto shop lots, or along the Epic Ballroom building where it says “Enterprise” or “Fire Dept”. Your car will get towed, or locked up (Danehy Park).
