Have you ever wanted to learn to Lindy Hop but don’t have time to commit to a weekly class?  This is your chance! Our next weekend “crash course” workshop is 2.5 hours, Sundays, 11am-1:30pm. Come learn from experienced teachers who are also social dancers in the Lindy Hop scene.

$42 advanced on-line registration, $50 at the door (register here)

We will cover six count basic (East Coast Swing), basic eight count (Lindy Hop – time permitting), and Charleston Basic. Moves typically include 6-count basic, Lindy circle, swing out and side by side Charleston. At the end of this class, you will be able to attend a social dance and dance to music.

Please try to bring a clean pair of shoes to the dance, as dirt and gravel from outside can damage the dance floors in the spaces we’re renting. Thank you in advance!

When parking, we recommend allowing extra time, as nearby parking has been heavily reduced due to the gym lot being closed. Please DO NOT park in the Apple Cinemas, the Danehy Park lot, the auto shop lots, or along the Epic Ballroom building where it says “Enterprise” or “Fire Dept”. Your car will get towed, or locked up (Danehy Park).
