Join us for a swing dance featuring our local Boston DJs!

DJs Cari Meisel, Mike Hibarger and Emily Kasman (making her DJ debut) will keep you all swinging out this Friday.

Cari Meisel – A huge part of Cari’s love of the dance comes from a love of the music – from old to new, big band to small combo, she loves it all! As a DJ, Cari aims to spread this love by playing great music and letting dancers do what they do best.

Mike H is a regular DJ at Boston Swing Central! There are about 84 years of recorded swing music and DJ Mike H dips into his diverse collection to play a little something for everyone from every era.

Emily Kasman – Emily joined the University of Rochester’s swing dance club in the fall of 2011 for their beginner lessons. Before she knew it, she was learning the Tranky Doo, performing routines at school events, and traveling for workshop and exchange weekends. Emily was excited to find that moving to Boston in the summer of 2013 would mean even more lindy hop! Although for a long time Emily’s swing music collection consisted only of Gordon Webster’s Rochester and Boston albums, she has recently been building up her collection and is ready for her BSC debut!

Lesson (included w/ price of admission): 8:00pm – 9:00pm
Swing Dancing: 9:00pm – 12:00am
General Admission: $10
